SAP Appendix Q

SAP is the Government's Standard Assessment Procedure for calculating the energy performance of Dwellings. It is used to demonstrate compliance with building regulations within the following areas - Part L (England and Wales), Section 6 (Scotland) and Part F (Northern Ireland), and provides energy ratings for dwellings that can be compared nationally.

The Appendix Q procedures apply specifically to MVHR and MEV systems, both of which are offered through Itho in the form of their HRU ECO 4 RF and CVE ECO 2 systems. Both have been designed to comply with the requirements set within the SAP Q and both have excelled when independently tested by the BRE, setting them up as two of the most versatile and efficient ventilation systems on the market.
